Creativity, for me, is direction before execution. It starts with curiosity and research, with the work of pulling distant inputs into one idea that holds together and deserves to be made.
I use AI to expand what Art Direction can do. Speed is only a byproduct.
The real value is that things that used to exist only in my head now have a path to becoming real.
The craft still comes down to taste, judgment, and a vision clear enough to hold across every decision.
Outside of work, I look for things that give me a different angle. Anime above all. It stages stories and shows lives in ways cinema and TV rarely try to, and I steal from that difference both visually and narratively.
Books on psychology, communication and creativity help me understand how people actually work: how attention moves, how we read an image, how an idea takes shape.
That makes me a better thinker before it makes me a better Art Director.
